History at a Glance
-St. Mary's Cemetery-
St. Mary’s Cemetery was established by the Church of the Sacred Heart in Sharon, PA. St. Mary’s Cemetery grounds can be found on Carbon Drive in Hermitage, PA
St. Mary’s Cemetery had built a chapel on its grounds but it is unknown as to when it was dedicated. St. Mary’s Cemetery was formerly managed by Sacred Heart Church. Sacred Heart Church eventually merged with St. Joseph Church in February 2017.
With the merger of St. Mary’s Cemetery into St. Rose Cemetery Association, a columbarium of 40 (forty) niches was erected across from the chapel.

St. Mary's offers traditional graveside or columbarium burials. A columbarium is a structure for the reverential and usually public storage of funerary urns, holding cremated remains of the deceased.
